Ankle X-Ray if: Malleolar pain + (Lateral tenderness OR Medial tenderness OR Inability to bear weight). Foot X-Ray if: Midfoot pain + (5th Metatarsal tenderness OR Navicular tenderness OR Inability to bear weight).Clinical Pearls

Limitations
Not applicable if the patient is intoxicated, uncooperative, has diminished sensation in legs, or has distracting injuries.
