Clinical Pearls

Widely used by neurosurgeons to grade SAH severity. Lower grades (1-3) typically proceed to early surgical/endovascular repair, whereas management of Grade 4-5 is more controversial.

Limitations

Subjective classification with moderate inter-observer variability, particularly distinguishing between Grades 2 and 3.
